1. Acceptance
By creating an account on Wasselni24 ("the Platform") or by using it, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Wasselni24 is a technology platform
Wasselni24 provides a digital technology platform that facilitates communication and connection between independent drivers and riders. Wasselni24 does not itself provide transportation services, does not own the vehicles or motorcycles used by drivers, and does not employ drivers as employees. Drivers independently decide whether to accept or reject ride requests.
3. Independent drivers
Drivers use Wasselni24 as independent service providers. Nothing in the use of the Platform creates an employment relationship, partnership, agency relationship, or joint venture between Wasselni24 and any driver or rider. Drivers are responsible for their own decisions, activities, taxes, legal obligations, and compliance with applicable laws.
4. Rider pricing and driver offers
The Platform allows riders to propose a price for a trip. Drivers may accept the rider's proposed price or, where available, submit their own counter-offer. The rider may choose the driver and the offer they prefer. Once a trip is confirmed, the applicable price is the price agreed between the rider and the driver. Wasselni24 does not collect, hold, or distribute trip prices.
5. Vehicle, motorcycle, registration and legal compliance
Every driver is solely responsible for ensuring that: (a) they hold a valid driving licence; (b) they have the legal right to drive and use the vehicle or motorcycle; (c) the vehicle or motorcycle is in safe and suitable operating condition; (d) the vehicle or motorcycle has all registrations, documents, permits, insurance, inspections, or other requirements that may be required under applicable laws; and (e) they comply with all applicable traffic, transportation, tax, insurance, safety, and other legal or regulatory requirements.
Wasselni24 does not grant any driver a license, permit, authorization, or legal right to provide transportation services.
The approval or activation of a driver account on Wasselni24 does not constitute a guarantee, certification, or representation by Wasselni24 that the driver, vehicle, motorcycle, registration, or plate type complies with all applicable legal or regulatory requirements. Each driver is solely responsible for determining and ensuring compliance with the laws and regulations applicable to their vehicle or motorcycle and to the services they provide.
6. Limitation of Wasselni24 responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wasselni24 is not responsible for: the actions or omissions of drivers or riders; the quality, safety, or execution of transportation services provided by independent drivers; traffic violations or legal violations committed by drivers; the legal status of a driver's vehicle, motorcycle, registration, permits, insurance, or plate type; fines, penalties, taxes, insurance obligations, or other liabilities that belong to a driver; or disputes or agreements between riders and drivers. Wasselni24 is a technology platform facilitating connections between users and is not a party to the independent transportation agreement between the rider and the driver, unless explicitly stated otherwise. The Platform is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.
7. Driver obligations
Drivers must: provide accurate and up-to-date information; use a valid account and not allow another person to use their account; use the vehicle or motorcycle registered or approved in their driver account, where applicable; not drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance affecting their ability to drive; follow applicable traffic and safety laws; treat riders respectfully; not harass, threaten, or discriminate against users; not request additional payment beyond the agreed trip price unless clearly agreed between rider and driver or required by applicable law; and maintain all legally required documents and comply with applicable laws.
8. Rider responsibilities
Riders agree to provide accurate pickup and destination information, to pay the agreed price at the end of the trip, and to treat drivers and their vehicles with respect.
9. Safety and verification
Wasselni24 may request and verify driver information and documents, including identification, driving licences, vehicle or motorcycle information, photos, and other documents. Wasselni24 may suspend, restrict, or terminate a driver account where there is a reasonable concern regarding false or fraudulent information, fake or expired documents, safety risks, fraudulent activity, violation of these Terms & Conditions, or misuse of the Platform. Verification by Wasselni24 is not a guarantee that a driver, vehicle, or motorcycle complies with every legal or regulatory requirement.
10. Account and communication rules
Users must not: share, sell, or transfer their accounts; use another person's account; create fake accounts; provide false information; harass or threaten other users; use another user's contact information for purposes unrelated to the trip; or continue contacting another user after the trip for inappropriate, marketing, or harassing purposes.
11. Fraud and platform manipulation
The following are strictly prohibited: fake trips; fake accounts; location manipulation; price manipulation; collusion between drivers and riders to manipulate the Platform; abuse of cancellations; providing false information; using unauthorized software or tools to interfere with the Platform; and unauthorized access to Wasselni24 systems or data. Wasselni24 may investigate suspected fraud and suspend or permanently terminate accounts when appropriate.
12. Fees and subscriptions
Use of the Platform by drivers is free of charge for now during this phase, and Wasselni24 takes no commission on trip prices. Wasselni24 may modify its platform fees, subscriptions, commissions, or pricing model from time to time, subject to applicable law and appropriate prior notice where required.
13. Suspension and termination
Wasselni24 may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where there is a reasonable basis to believe that the user violated these Terms, provided false or fraudulent information, created a safety risk, used the Platform unlawfully or fraudulently, or attempted to manipulate or interfere with the Platform.
14. Ladies routing
Ride requests flagged as "Ladies" are routed automatically to verified female drivers, where available, for the comfort and safety of female riders.
15. Insurance and accidents
Drivers are responsible for maintaining the insurance required under applicable laws. In the event of an accident, the driver, the rider, and their respective insurers handle the matter directly between themselves. Wasselni24 is not an insurer and does not provide trip insurance.
16. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Lebanon, subject to any mandatory legal provisions that cannot be excluded. In case of a dispute, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably before taking further legal action before the competent authorities or courts in Lebanon, where applicable.
17. Updates to these Terms
Wasselni24 may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be published within the application or through another appropriate official communication channel. Continued use of the Platform after the updated Terms take effect may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
