1. Acceptance
By creating an account on Wasselni 24 ("the App") you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Nature of the service — software marketplace
Wasselni 24 is a software marketplace that allows independent riders and independent drivers in the Chouf region and the rest of Lebanon to find each other. Wasselni 24 is not a transportation company, not a taxi operator, and not a carrier. We do not employ drivers, we do not own vehicles, we do not set ride prices, and we do not take any commission on rides. The transportation contract is concluded directly between the rider and the driver.
3. Pricing — negotiated between rider and driver
The fare displayed inside the App is an indicative estimate only. The final price of every ride is freely negotiated between the rider and the driver before the trip starts. Wasselni 24 never collects, holds, or distributes ride fares.
4. Payment of rides
All ride fares are paid in cash, directly from the rider to the driver, at the end of each trip, unless the two parties agree otherwise between themselves.
5. Driver subscription
Use of the App by drivers is free of charge for now during this phase. We may introduce a monthly software-access subscription in the future (not a fee on rides or earnings); if and when we do, the pricing and details will be announced with at least 14 days' notice inside the App before it takes effect.
6. Driver requirements
To operate as a driver on Wasselni 24 you must: (a) be of legal driving age in Lebanon, (b) hold a valid Lebanese driver's licence, (c) comply with the licence and plate type of your vehicle under Lebanese law — including the public-transport "عمومي" (red-plate) licence where applicable — (d) carry valid vehicle insurance, (e) provide accurate vehicle and identity information, and (f) keep your documents up to date. It is each driver's sole responsibility to comply with all Lebanese transportation, licensing, and tax regulations. Wasselni 24 does not grant any transport authorisation.
7. Rider responsibilities
Riders agree to provide accurate pickup and destination information, to pay the agreed fare in cash at the end of the trip, and to treat drivers and their vehicles with respect.
8. Conduct & safety
Harassment, abusive behaviour, fraud, weapons, illegal substances, and any unsafe conduct are strictly prohibited. Wasselni 24 may suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules without prior notice.
9. Ladies routing
Ride requests flagged as "Ladies" are routed automatically to verified female drivers, where available, for the comfort and safety of female riders.
10. Limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Because Wasselni 24 is only a software platform that connects riders and drivers, we are not a party to the transportation contract and we are not liable for the acts, omissions, accidents, delays, losses, damage, injuries, or any incidents that occur during a ride. To the maximum extent permitted by Lebanese law, Wasselni 24's total aggregate liability to any user is limited to the amount of any software fees (if any) paid by that user in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Insurance & accidents
Drivers are responsible for maintaining the insurance required by Lebanese law. In the event of an accident, the driver, the rider, and their respective insurers handle the matter directly between themselves. Wasselni 24 is not an insurer and does not provide ride insurance.
12. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, that fail driver verification, or whose conduct endangers other users.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Lebanese law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Beirut, Lebanon.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
